With over a decade in the industry, Sam began tattooing in 2012, gaining experience in busy street shops across Brisbane and Melbourne, Australia. His work has taken him internationally and into some of New Zealand’s top studios, attending conventions regularly and continuing to refine his craft.

 

Now based in Tauranga working out of a private space, Sam specialises in Japanese-inspired tattoos and traditional imagery. Focused on creating bold, readable tattoos with an emphasis on form and composition— a passion that began in his early artistic interests in graffiti.

 

When not tattooing, Sam is constantly studying, collecting reference material and painting, pushing his creativity into different projects, continually keeping active within the art form to ensure each piece is something his clients can be proud of.
